About Me

My name is Juan Lollar. You most probably don't know me because I'm neither rich nor famous. I'm just an ordinary person who tries to live an honest life and help others however I can.

So why should you listen to me? Because I'm human. Because I communicate like a real human! In other words, I'm not some guarded Fortune 500 company CEO who always must say the "correct" thing.

I'm an average person who likes sharing what I know with others. Sometimes, "others" are my kids, wife, and friends. But for the most part, “others” are complete strangers online looking for specific solutions for various problems.

While I like talking, reading, and writing about virtually every topic, I find certain subjects more captivating than others. Allergy, asthma, and respiratory diseases in general pique my interest.

But that's not because these subjects are inherently interesting. It's because I am an allergy and asthma sufferer. So is my son, Juan Junior.

I used to work a soul-sucking job with arguably the worst employer in the world. But that was before I left that horrible place to become a full time blogger. But who quits a banking job to hustle online? When you have a terrible job, asthma and allergies can make your life miserable.

I will always remember the spring of 2013. For some reason, my seasonal allergies were extremely bad that year. One week they were so intense I had to call in sick. What do bad bosses think of people who keep calling in sick that? I needed to quit that job even though it was paying the bills.

Luckily, I'd started earning money on the side writing beautiful content for a couple clients. Finally I took the plunge and.....it was a long, hard jump. Long story short, I survived. I no longer need to call in sick anymore. And I no longer need to involve others about making arrangements to see my pulmonologist.

In fact, my visits to the doctor’s office have drastically reduced. Could that be because I use True HEPA air purifiers every day? That’s very possible. In fact, I think that’s why. Actually, that's why I started this blog. I built it so it could help me share my story about the various allergy and asthma solutions I've tried along the way.

You may not need to quit your job to manage your allergies like I did, though. You most probably shouldn't attempt to jump across the Grand Canyon. I'd advise you to try and manage your breathing difficulties while still holding down that job. And whenever you can, try to come to this blog for information, encouragement, and community. Welcome to my blog.
